Return, Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy

This policy applies to purchases made from LIKUA UG (haftungsbeschränkt) through our online store.

1. Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you generally have the statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

For purchases of goods, the withdrawal period normally begins when you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the goods.

If several goods forming part of one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the last item is received.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

It is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires.

No reason for the withdrawal is required.

2. Electronic Withdrawal

Consumers may use the electronic return and cancellation function available through our online store to submit a withdrawal request.

When an electronic withdrawal request is submitted, an electronic confirmation of receipt will be provided.

The availability of this electronic function does not prevent consumers from exercising their withdrawal right by another legally permitted clear declaration, including by email or letter.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

If you validly withdraw from the contract, we will refund payments received from you for the affected goods, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable beyond the cost of our standard delivery method.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than the period required by applicable law.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction and without additional fees charged by LIKUA for the refund.

4. Returning Goods

After exercising the right of withdrawal, you must return the affected goods without undue delay and within the statutory return period.

Please contact info@likua.de before returning high-value computer equipment so that we can provide appropriate return instructions and help ensure that the equipment is transported safely.

Unless LIKUA has agreed to bear the return shipping costs or applicable law requires LIKUA to bear them, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

For goods that cannot normally be returned by standard parcel service, any legally required information concerning expected return costs will be provided before purchase.

5. Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect goods in a manner reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

You may be responsible for a reduction in value if the goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary for such inspection and that handling has caused a loss in value.

Opening ordinary product packaging does not by itself remove the statutory right of withdrawal unless a statutory exception applies.

Please return products, accessories, documentation and packaging where reasonably possible.

6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, or may expire early, in circumstances provided by law.

Relevant examples may include:

goods manufactured or configured specifically according to an individual customer's specifications where the statutory requirements for customised goods are met;
sealed computer software where the statutory conditions for loss of the withdrawal right after removal of the seal are met;
digital content supplied without a physical medium where the customer has expressly agreed to performance beginning before expiry of the withdrawal period, acknowledged the resulting loss of the withdrawal right, and the applicable statutory requirements have been satisfied.

An ordinary standard-configured computer, workstation or component is not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because it is an expensive or professional product.

Where an exception applies, this will be communicated to the consumer where required before the order is placed.

7. Defective or Incorrect Products

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your rights if goods are defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

Consumers retain their statutory rights relating to defective goods under German law.

Please contact us at info@likua.de if you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective product.

Any manufacturer's warranty is additional to, and does not replace, statutory rights against LIKUA as the seller.

8. Business Customers

The statutory consumer right of withdrawal described above applies to consumers.

Business customers acting in the course of their commercial or independent professional activity do not have a statutory consumer right of withdrawal unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Rights concerning defective goods and any individually agreed return rights remain unaffected.
